THE IMPORTANCE OF PPLT

            What is the Important of PPLT ? it is one of the ways to learn how to teach well before becoming a teacher and many experiences about teaching that will be got by students who do PPLT. PPLT is very important for students who take education program. Because, in PPLT students can practice their knowledge which they get when they study in university. Beside that, In PPLT the students also learn about socialization in their live environment. I believe that PPLT is very important due to some distinctive reasons.

The First, PPLT gives many experiences for students who do it especially experience about teaching and socialization in school and society. By doing PPLT can train students to teach them how to be better. As a candidate of teacher besides they must mastery the material, they also must be able to explain the material well. So that, their students can understand and interest with their study. Before doing PPLT, they have studied about many things especially about teaching. There are many teaching methods and techniques that can be used in learning process so that the activity of learning is not bored.  In this good opportunity, they can apply their knowledge that has been got in real condition. Besides they learn about teaching, in PPLT they also will learn about socialization in society. Because as a teacher they also must be able to do good socialization in society where they live and work.

                And then, with PPLT we can learn to socialize well in the new community with many characters and new persons in society or school in there. At the time of PPLT many of science that can be get by students, but beside we can learn to teach well in school we also can practice socializing with the community around the school, with the following events are carried on by the community in our location PPLT. For example : we can learn to teach of TPA and we can active  in there. So, we can remove the ideas to develop the life of society by participating to socialize with the surrounding environment. This is one advantage of the PPLT, so it is very important for the PPLT to do by every student.

And the last, in PPLT the undergraduate student can learn how to handle class and understanding about the student’s character. This is one of the important things that they will be got by the students when they do PPLT. Because, if they can handle the class well and they know about the character and the capability of student. They will be easy to apply the concept in teaching and learning process. Every student in the school has different capability and characters and they also come from different background like place or family. The condition of environment where they live is very influence in their attitude and achievement. So, as a candidate of teacher besides has responsibility in learning activity, a teacher also has responsibility to teach good things like a good attitude. In summarize, to be a good teacher besides they must explain the material well, they must also be able to handle the class and understanding the student’s characters and they will learn it when they do PPLT.

All in all, PPLT is truly important for undergraduate students because of the following simple reasons. First, PPLT gives many experiences especially about teaching and socialization in school and society. Second, with PPLT we can learn to socialize well in the new community with many characters and new persons in society or school in there. Third, in PPLT they can learn how to handle class and understanding about student’s characters. Based on the explanation above many benefits that will be got by undergraduate students who do PPLT so never be doubt to do PPLT.
